An International Monetary Fund (IMF) mission would visit Pakistan to discuss IMF-supported programme before the end of April. The Office of the Resident Representative of IMF Monday issued the following press statement in this regard.
"The Pakistani authorities and the IMF staff held constructive discussions during the IMF/World Bank spring meetings in Washington DC towards an IMF-supported programme. At the request of the authorities, an IMF mission will be going to Pakistan before the end of April to continue discussions."
