West Indies Women cricket team to visit Pakistan On Jan 30

ISLAMABAD: Chief Operating Officer of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Subhan Ahmad has said that a good news for cricketing fans as the West Indies Cricket Board confirms their women cricket team would visit Pakistan in for a three-match T20i series.

West Indian women team would be visiting Pakistan after nearly 15 years as their last visit to Pakistan was in March 2004.

The three T20 internationals are scheduled to be played from January 31 to February 3 at the Southend Club in Karachi, PTV news reported.

This will mark the resumption of women's international cricket in Pakistan since they hosted Bangladesh for two T20is and as many ODIs in September-October 2015.

Following the t20 international series, Pakistan and West Indies move to Dubai for three ODIs that will be part of the 2017-21 ICC women's championship.

Subhan Ahmad terming the visit of the West Indies women's team to Karachi a great news not only for Pakistan cricket but for women's cricket in general, said, PCB is thankful to cricket West Indies and their players for trusting the PCB and agreeing to play three T20is in Karachi.
