At least six people including two women were killed after a four-storey building collapsed in Bhati Chowk locality on Saturday night. According to details, three others including two children were also injured in the collapse. Officials said the four-storey building collapsed in Mohalla Aslam Khan of the Walled City which trapped the other residents under the debris of the building for several hours. Police identified the deceased as Shehzad, Shaheen Bibi, Qasim Ali and Farzana. The injured were shifted to a medical facility for treatment while police are looking further into the mishap.
Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar took notice of the fatal incident and sought a report from the Commissioner Lahore. While commemorating with the bereaved families, the CM directed the administration to provide best medical treatment to the injured ones.
