The business community has urged the government to take it on board in formulation of economic policies and make proper consultation in this regard, which will promote trade and industries as well as enhance export. This was stated by Sarhad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) President Faiz Mohammad Faizi during a meeting with a delegation of National Management College Lahore led by directorating staff Naveed Elahi at the chamber house on Wednesday.
SCCI senior vice president Engr Saad Khan Zahid, Vice president Haris Mufti, former presidents Zahidullah Shinwari, Faud Ishaq, FPCCI regional office Peshawar coordinator Haji Mohammad Afzal, Directorating Staff Noor Elahi, APCEA chairman Manzoor Elahi, former provincial minister, Syed Zahir Ali Shah, members of executive committee, traders and industrialists were present on the occasion.
He said that the consistency in economic policies and mutual consultation with business community is imminent for bringing reforms in tax system, which would support for development of industrialization, export and economy in the country.
He said the both federal and provincial governments should take business community and chambers into confidence in formulation of economic policies in order to yield fruitful results, especially business community take full benefits from them.
