Chief Secretary Punjab Yousaf Naseem Khokhar here on Sunday reviewed pace of work on the Lahore Orange Line train and took important decisions to ensure early completion of the project.
Chairman Planning and Development, Secretary Transport, Secretary Finance, Director General of Lahore Development Authority, Managing Director NESPAK and officers of Punjab Metro Authority were also present on the occasion. Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Secretary urged that as per direction of Punjab Chief Minister Orange Line Train project should be completed at the earliest in the larger public interest. He directed that maximum facilities be provided to people and determination of fare of the train be done on scientific lines by hiring services of experts so that passengers could be given affordable travelling without any burden on provincial exchequer.
