There’s no hidden truth about the rivalry between Kangana Ranaut and Karan Johar. The two went the extra mile to prove their dislike for each other in the recent past. Karan in a recent interview said that he doesn’t have any problems working with Kangana but no lead actor or director has asked for her.
It was on the sets of Karan's own chat show that Kangana took a dig at him by calling him the flag-bearer of nepotism. She added that Karan is intolerant towards outsiders in the industry. Her words didn't go down too well with the filmmaker.
In an interview with Huffington Post, when asked about working with Kangana, KJo said, “I have no problem with her. Tomorrow, if I feel like she is really required for a film, I will work with her. The film I was directing didn’t have any scope for her, in my opinion, and no director has come to me with the desire to cast her. I, therefore, have not cast her. No lead actor has asked for her. Just because we had personal differences doesn’t mean we are not going to work together,” he said.
He also said he doesn’t take his personal differences on his workplace as it’s totally business. “It's a commercial deal and there are no emotions involved in commerce,” added KJo.
