KARACHI: Sindh Rangers on Sunday claimed to have arrested five suspects, including a political party activist, during raids in different parts of the metropolis.
According to rangers’ spokesman, the paramilitary forces raided in Sachal area and apprehended a political party’s militant wing target killer, Muhammad Waseem Abbasi.
He was stated to be involved in several target killing cases in the city.
During crackdown on street criminals, rangers conducted raids in Malir and Defence areas and detained four suspects affiliated to MQM-London.
Rangers also claimed to have recovered illegal weapons, drugs and contraband from their possession. They were handed over to police for further legal action.
