President of Huawei Technologies, Asia and Middle East Region, Charles Yang has said that the company is going to make substantial increase in investment volume in Pakistan in coming five years. President of Asia and Middle East Region of Huawei Technologies Charles Yang was talking to Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi here at the Foreign Office on Friday.
According to the Foreign Office, both exchanged views on matters of mutual interest, including the investment opportunities in Pakistan. Speaking on the occasion, the foreign minister said that Pakistan offers best investment opportunities in technology sector. He said that several international companies, including Huawei, are doing profitable business in Pakistan by taking advantage of business friendly policies of the government.
The Foreign Office further said that Charles Yang informed Qureshi said that Huawei Technologies is going to make considerable increase in the investment volume in Pakistan in coming five years. Last month, Huawei signed a memorandum of understanding with Pakistan to establish its first cloud centre here, following the company''s CEO Ren Zhengfei called on Prime Minister Imran Khan in Beijing, where he expressed his interest in making a massive investment in Pakistan.
