Fed Govt fully committed for development of Hyderabad: MNA Nuzhat Pathan

HYDERABAD: The Member National Assembly of Pakistan Tehreek Insaf Nuzhat Pathan Monday said that the Prime Minister Imran Khan fully committed for the development of Hyderabad the second largest city of Sindh province and soon the citizens would witness the federal funded development schemes for historic city of the province.

Addressing the members of Hyderabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry here at HCCI secretariat on Monday, MNA Nuzhat Pathan informed that she discussed the Sindh Development Package with the Prime Minister Imran Khan with request that Hyderabad is the industrial zone therefore, the citizens of this city should receive the development package from the federal government.

The premier will soon perform the ground breaking of Hyderabad University, she added.

She informed that during meeting with the Federal Minister for Aviation Muhammad Mian Soomro, she proposed the extension of runway of Hyderabad Airport as well as operation of at least one flight in a week.

Efforts are also underway round the clock opening of PIA booking office of Hyderabad in order to facilitate the interested passengers, she added.

MNA Nuzhat Pathan informed that she had also discussed the issues of HESCO customers with Federal Minister Umer Ayoub Khan.

The federal minister will soon meet a delegation at Governor House during his visit of Karachi and the representatives from HCCI will also be included in that delegation, she assured.

Similarly, she informed that she also discussed the issues being faced by the passengers at Hyderabad Railway Station particularly at the time of reservation of seats.

The minister assured to address the issue in order to facilitate the railway passengers, she added.

Earlier, the President HCCI Muhammad Saleem Shaikh, Senior Vice President Fahad Hussain Shaikh and Vice President Pir Syed Mehmood Iqbal Jaferi briefed the visiting MNA about the issues being faced by the citizens particularly the business community of Hyderabad.
