The law enforcement agencies on Tuesday reviewed Youm-e-Ali (RA) security plan in a meeting presided over by Pakistan Rangers Sindh Director General (DG) Major General Umar Ahmed Bukhari. The meeting, which held at the Rangers (Sindh) Headquarters, was attended by Commissioner Karachi, Additional Inspector General of Police (AIGP) Karachi, AIGP Counter Terrorism Department (CTD), AIGP Special Branch, Deputy IGPs of all branches and zones and other senior officers of other agencies, said a statement.
The meeting decided that besides security of Majalis and processions, strict security of all sensitive installations would also be ensured. Strict implementation of code of conduct issued by the Sindh Government would also be ensured.
