Former President Asif Ali Zardari counsel Farooq H Naek has written a letter to National Accountability Bureau (NAB) to grant more time to Zardari to file reply in graft charges against him. Naek, Zardari's counsel and senior leader of Pakistan People Party (PPP) stated that the former president has arrived in Karachi to see his doctor as he is not feeling well. He requested NAB to give another date to his client for recording his statement before NAB Combined Investigation Team (CIT) in the connection with fack bank account cases.
It is pertinent to be mentioned here that NAB CIT has summoned Zardari to appear before it on May 23 today.
