Heirs of the martyrs of Data Darbar blast met with the Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar at his office here on Friday. Those who called on the Chief Minister included Nazia Bibi widow of Rafaqat Ali of Railway Colony Garhi Shahu, Surraya Begum widow of Muhammad Nawaz of Mustafabad Sui Gas Chowk Shahdara, Muhammad Aslam father of Tahir Aslam of Pakpattan and Mrs. Noshay mother of Mudasar who was the resident of Lohari Gate Sooter Mandi Lahore.
The Chief Minister presented cheques of financial assistance of one million rupees each to Nazia Bibi, Surraya Begum, Muhammad Aslam, and Mrs. Noshay. He also extended sympathies to them and said that he is deeply saddened over the departure of their loved ones. We equally share your grief and the sacrifices of the martyrs will not be wasted. Moreover, the CM has taken a big initiative for the government employees who want to go to Saudi Arabia for performing Umrah.
Now the employees can depart Saudi Arabia to perform Umrah till Eid with the permission of the competent authority and they will not have to contact Chief Minister Office in this regard. Usman Buzdar said that the condition of taking NOC from CM office has been abolished till Eid. This step will facilitate the government officials to departure to perform Umrah, he concluded.
Furthermore, the CM has strongly condemned the bomb blast in a mosque in the area of Pashtoonabad, Quetta. Usman Buzdar also expressed heartfelt sympathies and condolence with the heirs of Martyrs. He prayed for the early recovery of injured and said the whole nation is united against terrorism and extremism. He said that such cowered activities cannot shake the confidence of the determined nation.
