KP businessmen invited to attend Jakarta trade exhibition

Ambassador of Indonesia in Pakistan, Iwan Suyudhie Amri has invited the Khyber Pakhtunhwa businessmen to participate in 'Trade exhibition', which is scheduled to be held in Jakarta in the month of October 2019.
He extended this invitation while speaking at an Iftar dinner function at Sarhad Chamber of Commerce and Industry Peshawar. SCCI president Faiz Mohammad Faizi, senior vice president Engineer Saad Khan, vice president Haris Mufti, Third Secretary Economic Function Indonesia Denial Nagrohu, executive body members, were present on the occasion.
The diplomat stressed the need for bolstering economic and trade relations to stabilize the economy of both Pakistan and Indonesia, besides, it would also strengthen the bilateral trade volume of the two brotherly Islamic countries.
He agreed with recommendations of SCCI president Faiz Mohammad Faizi regarding economic reforms and promotion of trade relations and assured that his country will extend full cooperation in trade and other different sectors. He further assured that visas will be issued to businesspersons on recommendations of the chamber within 3 to 4 days.
The ambassador said that his country gave much important to Pakistan, adding that Indonesia has included Pakistan, being Muslim country in its top priority to further strengthen mutual trade relations with it. Iwan Suyudhie Amri claimed that during his three years tenure, the export of Pakistani products has gradually increased. He said tobacco export will be further increased from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He thanked the SCCI president Faiz Mohammad for inviting him in the Iftar dinner.
Earlier, speaking on the occasion, Faiz Mohammad lauded the Indonesian ambassador for visiting thrice in the chamber house and efforts for bolstering mutual trade and economic relations between Pakistan and Indonesia.
SCCI chief informed that the mutual trade volume between Pakistan and Indonesia stood at $ 3 billion, in which include 89 per cent share of Indonesia and rest of 11 per cent of Pakistan, which needed to further enlarge.
He mentioned about investment opportunities in hydel generation, oil and gas, tourism, mining, precious and semi-precious stones, along with agriculture, livestock sectors in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and invited the Indonesian companies to make investment in these potential sector in the province. He assured that the participation of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa businessmen in exhibition to be held in Jakarta in the month of October 2019.
