Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry on Sunday rebutted speculations that there were internal rifts within the ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and stated, "the government isn't going anywhere." Chaudhry took to Twitter, and stated that [the menace of] nepotism and intercession has abused state institutions and civil departments were completely destroyed.
"The premier took charge over the crumbled system," he added. The minister further stated that there was no hope of improvement in these departments within just a year or two.
"We have reached a consensus that if this democratic system were to succeed, then Imran Khan's success is essential. Analyse [the progress] of countries which got independence at the same time as Pakistan, you would know what have we achieved or lost in so many years," he maintained.
