KARACHI: Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) management has instructed for work-friendly and productive roster to facilitate the cabin crew.
In a statement on Tuesday a PIA spokesperson said that the scheduling section is directed to accommodate cabin crew's long-standing demand for days off and reduction in unnecessary layovers abroad.
The new schedule to be implemented in coming month will be in line with Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority - PCAA's air navigation order, he said.
This will ensure proper rest while at same time maintaining flight safety standards, he added.
He said that the main objective is to provide maximum comfort and rest at home. Such adjustments will facilitate, especially the female cabin crew to spend adequate time with their families, he said.
