To encourage people to file returns under Assets Declaration Ordinance 2019, the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has extended date of filing of income tax returns/statements for the tax year 2018 up to June 30, 2019. According to the income tax circular number 4 of 2019 issued here on Monday, the date of filing of returns of total income/statement of final taxation which were due on August 31, 2018 and extended up to April 30, 2019 is hereby further extended up to June 30, 2019.
The date of filing of returns of total income and statements of final taxation for companies, individuals and association of persons (AOPs), which was due on September 30, 2018 and extended up to April 30, 2019 is hereby further extended up to June 30, 2019.
The date of filing of returns of total income and statements of final taxation for companies which was due on December 31, 2018 and extended up to April 30, 2019 is hereby further extended up to June 30, 2019, the FBR added.
According to the FBR's instructions to all chief commissioners of Large Taxpayer Units (LTUs) and Regional Tax Offices (RTOs) here on Monday, the Board has extended the date of submission of Annexure-C and Annexure-I of the sales tax and federal excise return up to June 15, 2019, the date of payment of sales tax and federal excise duty up to June 18, 2019 and the date of submission of sales tax and federal excise return up to June 21, 2019 for the tax period of May, 2019 due to Eid-ul-Fitr holidays, the FBR added.
