Pakistan Peoples' Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Thursday formed a four-member committee to talk with Balochistan National Party-Mengal over the BNP-M's offer to join the opposition.
The four-member team comprising Syed Khursheed Ahmed Shah, Syed Nayyar Hussain Bukkhari, Farhatullah Babar and Raja Pervaiz Ashraf will hold dialogues with BNP-
Mengal President Akhtar Mengal. The PPP chairman's political secretary Jamil Soomro has issued the notification for the formation the committee.
According to the sources, Mengal had sent a message to Bilawal Bhutto Zardari for the formation of committee and also offered to join the opposition in return for support of their demands.
The sources said that Mengal had offered the opposition for a written agreement on their demands and the BNP would become part of the opposition after successful talks.
Meanwhile, Zardari has also formed a coordination committee for overseeing matters relating to mass contact and mobilization, which comprises of Yousuf Raza Gilani, Nayyar Bokhari, Farhatullah Babar, Raja Pervaiz Ashraf, Syed Qaim Ali Shah, Taj Haider, Najamuddin Khan and Sabir Baloch.
The provincial presidents and general secretaries of all provinces, AJK and Gilgit Baltistan will also be members of the committee on coordination matters relating to respective provinces.
