PPP voices concern over delay in tribal districts polls

The provincial president, PPP Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mohammad Hamayun Khan has expressed concern over unjustified delay in the provincial assembly elections in the merged districts of the erstwhile FATA. In a statement issued here on Sunday, the leader said that FATA reforms was the dream of PPP founding chairman, Zulfikar Ali Bhutto adding that the mainstreaming of the FATA had always remained the top priority of the party leadership.
He said that PPP during its last stint in power had guaranteed provincial autonomy and given identity to the people of provinces. He directed the party workers to play their due role in the provincial assembly polls in the tribal districts and added that members of the provincial cabinet and senior leaders will run the election campaign of the party candidates.
