Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Saturday filed an application against Pakistan Peoples' Party (PPP) leader Faryal Talpur in Sindh Assembly. According to sources, PTI MPA Arsalan Taj filed an application in this regard in which he accused PPP MPA Faryal Talpur of not declaring her three properties to the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).
Therefore, he requested the Speaker Sindh Assembly to take action against the lawmaker under the article 62 (f) of the constitution of Pakistan. The application further reads that Faryal Talpur has not declared her three residences, one in Larkana and two in Shahdadkot during the filing of nomination papers in ECP.
Faryal was elected MPA from PS-10 Larkana. She was arrested by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) last week in the fake bank accounts case. Following her arrest, she was shifted to her Islamabad residence which has been declared a sub-jail. The Federal Investigation Agency is investigating 32 people, including Zardari and Talpur vis-à-vis money laundering from fictitious accounts.
