The Government of Punjab have no plan to establish new hospitals because of limited resources but we will make sure the current facilities more effective than before, Health Department of Punjab wish to excel public private partnership in health sector to facilitate the public, I believe Professor A S Chughtai will play role for the haemophilia eradication across Pakistan.
These views were expressed by Provincial Minister Health Dr Yasmin Rashid at inaugural ceremony of the largest pathology laboratory set up of Pakistan.
Minister Health Punjab said that Professor Dr A S Chughtai is brand in Pakistan and have great prestige in the field of medical and his services for nation are more than three and a half decades which is also a landmark in his career.
While addressing the ceremony Professor Dr A S Chughtai said, "I never dreamed Chughtai lab will be such an amazing brand of Pakistan but my determination, professionalism and hardworking with team work brought us at this level." He added that the journey began in 1983 when I setup shop in three rooms with two technologists and one pathologist and named it Chughtai Lab.
