Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar said on Sunday that all historic buildings/sites will be utilized for promotion of tourism in Punjab.
In a statement, the CM said that promotion of tourism is the top agenda of the PTI government which will strengthen the country's economic condition. Under a comprehensive tourism policy, new tourist points will also be developed in Punjab. A programme to provide all sorts of facilities at tourists point is also being implemented. The promotion of tourism will create job opportunities for locals as well, he added.
He further said that the Punjab government is also contemplating to opening up rest houses for public. The people would be benefited from the best boarding and lodging facilities in these rest houses. "It will be an exemplary step," he hoped. While talking to a delegation earlier in the day, the CM expressed that the country's economic situation will be changed if the looted money comes back. "Hard time is about to pass," he claimed and added that economic discipline will bring stability.
