Sindh government has inked an MoU with Japan to evolve programmes for the training of females in the society, provincial minister for Women Development Syeda Shehla Raza told Sindh Assembly on Friday. She was replying to queries of legislators during the questions and answers session on Sindh Women Development Department.
She asserted that her department has harnessed around 400,000 women with skills in 18 districts. The minister said that the department was executing its four-month and three-month female training programs. She pointed out that the dropouts struck the programme's progress but the department had overcome the issue. She also told the house that the department was jointly working with different NGOs to help them provide training to women without funds spending.
