Chief Secretary Sindh Syed Mumtaz Ali Shah inaugurated the Complaint Cell established in Sindh Secretariat aimed at resolving the problems faced by the general public in a shortest possible time. Addressing the inaugural ceremony on Monday, Mumtaz Ali Shah said that the general public as well as all government officials can now submit their complaints directly and all complaints will be resolved in shortest possible time. He said that Prime Minister Secretariat and Sindh Chief Minister Secretariat have also established their complaint cells.
"This Complaint Cell would also be beneficial for the solution of their matters related to Sindh Secretariat and concerned offices," he added.
The Chief Secretary Sindh said that the provincial government has formulated a strategy to cope with the problems being faced by masses at large and to provide them with amicable solutions to their problems.
He also directed all the focal persons of all provincial departments that they should focus to resolve the problems of the masses on priority basis so that people could get the justice on time.
"The number of the complaints solved by the officers would be highlighted in their Annual Confidential Reports (ACR)/Performance Evaluation Report (PER)," Mumtaz Ali Shah said adding that he will personally monitor the Complaint Cell and all officers have been directed to resolve complaints within 15 days and monthly review meetings would also be conducted.
