Anti-businesses policies: KP traders announce another protest drive from 3rd

Traders and business community in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have announced another protest campaign from August 3 against anti-businesses policies and tax measures adopted by federal and provincial governments in the budget for fiscal year 2019-20.
Speaking at a news conference at Peshawar Press Club on Wednesday, Sharafat Ali Mubarak, president Markazi Tanzeem-e-Tajraan Khyber Pakhtunkhwa said that small traders are regularly paying different kind of direct and indirect taxes, which were generating hefty revenue for federal and provincial exchequer.
Accompanied by Malik Mehr Ilahi, president Anjuman-i-Tajiran, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, traders, and members of business community, Sharafat Mubarak said the traders will fully support to any reforms agenda, but it should be made business-friendly.
As per unanimous decision of Markazi Tanzeem-e-Tajraan Pakistan, All Pakistan Anjuman-e-Tajraan Naeem-Mir Group, All Pakistan Traders Alliance, All Pakistan Anjuman-e-Tajaran Ashraf Bhatti Group and Qaum Tajir Ittehad Pakistan, Sharfat Mubarak said the traders will observe protest across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on August 3, followed by shutter-down strike on Aug 15 and 16, besides two-day complete shutter-down on Aug 26 and 27.
