The Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) in collaboration with the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Saturday held a ceremony in connection with clean and green Pakistan.
Speaking on the occasion, Director FIA Waqar Abbasi lauded the LCCI efforts for afforestation and said that all segments of society should play their due role for clean and green Pakistan to get rid of the environmental issues.
LCCI President Almas Hyder said environmental changes are one of the biggest threats being faced by the world. Pakistan is one of those countries where climate changes posing serious challenges due to shrinking forests. He said that enhancing area of forests is inevitable to control temperature, drought and pollution, he said.
