ANP's chief, Asfandyar Wali Khan has condemned bomb explosion in a wedding ceremony in Afghan capital Kabul and expressed deep grief and sorrow over the loss of children, women and other innocent people in the incident. In a condemnation statement issued from Bacha Khan Markaz here Sunday, he termed the Kabul bombing a conspiracy to sabotage peace process. He said that the gruesome incident at such critical situation can damage the negotiation process.
Expressing heartiest sympathies with the people and government of Afghanistan, Asfandyar Wali Khan said that ANP is fully with them in the wake of the gruesome incident. He said that sincere cooperation among the states is only way out to combat the curse of terrorism. He condoled the deaths of those killed in the incident with the heirs, Afghan government and people of Afghanistan and said that at a time when peace negotiations continued the occurrence of such like incidents on Afghan soil will trigger deterioration.
He urged the government of Pakistan to stress support for international efforts for restoration of complete peace and stability in Afghanistan. Meanwhile, a meeting of the ANP Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chapter will be held here today (Monday) with provincial president, Aima Wali Khan in the chair in Bacha Khan Markaz. The meeting discussed overall political situation, organizational matters, elections in the newly merged districts and other issues.
