Sindh government wants to resolve issues of Katchi Abadies: minister

Sindh Minister for Human Settlement Ghulam Murtaza Baloch has said that Sindh Government is keenly interested to resolve the issues faced by Katchi Abadies on priority basis, especially supply of pure drinking water, draining out of sewerage water, bricking of streets and roads and removal of encroachments.
He said that he was fully aware of the situation, prevailing in Katchi Abadies, and trying to solve them in collaboration with relevant stakeholders, adding that we all had to work together to achieve the target.
Ghulam Murtaza Baloch was of the opinion that first of all these problems were to be identified on scientific lines so that they might be addressed properly.
He assured that certain number of Katchi Abadies would be regularised gradually and those Katchi Abadies, which were still deprived of natural gas, would be provided at earliest and for the purpose, high officials of Sui Southern Gas Company would also be contacted.
Ghulam Murtaza Baloch said, "Pakistan Peoples Party believes in providing maximum relief to the people and asked the people to cooperate with the Sindh Government in its good works."
