Paying tributes to the services and professional capabilities of Pakistan Air Force (PAF) for defending the country's air boundaries, Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar on Wednesday said the whole nation is standing shoulder to shoulder with the armed forces of Pakistan and no compromise will be made on the country's integrity and security.
"Cooperation between the Punjab government and PAF will be continued in health and education sectors and all out cooperation will also be extended for early completion of a cadet college in Fort Munro," the CM said Deputy Chief of Air Staff (Training) Air Vice Marshal Amir Masood and Air Officer Commanding Central Air Command Air Vice Marshal Tariq Zia called on Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar here on Wednesday.
The CM said, "We pay our highest regards to the PAF eagles that defend the air frontiers of the country; PAF eagles are the pride of the nation and the brave sons of the country, which are deputed to protect the motherland, are our heroes. The PAF is amongst the finest air forces of the world which has written a history of bravery for the protection of the country and the nation is proud of our air force eagles."
He said the role played by the PAF in nation building is praiseworthy and its services in health and education sectors are worthwhile. Similarly, PAF has also played a leading role in relief activities during natural calamities.
In a statement, the Punjab CM said the Indian government has turned the Occupied Kashmir into a virtual garrison fort while the Kashmiris are going through unbearable pain and miseries due to the prolong curfew.
"Further silence of international human rights bodies, on the barbarity and savagery of Indian occupied forces, would be a criminal negligence and the international community will have to be awakened to remain safe from large-scale human catastrophe," the CM said, adding: "The Modi government has tried to hoodwink the whole world on the issue of Occupied Kashmir while Prime Minister Imran Khan has vigorously projected Indian cunningness and mean approach."
He further said that the Pakistani nation will be standing with the Kashmiris till the last breathe because we have a special attachment with Kashmir.
Moreover, the Punjab CM Usman Buzdar has condoled the death of the mother of Younis Khan, former captain of the national cricket team. He extended sympathies and prayed that may Allah Almighty rest the departed soul in eternal peace.
