ISLAMABAD: The KSE-100 index of Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) witnessed a bearish trend on Wednesday and fell by 108.71 points.
The KSE-100 index of PSX was down by 0.26 percent and closed at 41,505 points in trading.
A total of 118,361,610 shares were traded, whereas the value of shares traded during the day was Rs 7.818 billion.
Out of 358 companies, share prices of 137 companies recorded increase while that of 204 companies registered decrease whereas 17 companies remained stable in today's trading.
FCCL was the volume leader with 17,542,000 shares, and its per share price increased by Rs 0.53 to close at Rs 22.24 per share.
MLCF remained the runner up with 9,642,500 shares traded during the day and its price increased by Rs 1.24 per share to close at Rs 46.75 followed by DGKC whose trading volume was recorded at 8,772,000 shares, and its price per share increased by Rs 2.12 and closed at Rs 91.56.
