Pakistan's first ever "Sikh Heritage art exhibition" will take place today (Monday), at Governor House Lahore. Governor Punjab Ch Muhammad Sarwar along with Sikh Pilgrims from US, UK and Canada will inaugurate the exhibition. PTI Dubai member Imran Chaudhry in a meeting with the Governor Punjab pledged to donate 75 million rupees for "Gurduwara Bhai Karam Singh Jhelum" renovation and preservation. According to details, in the Darbar Hall of Governor House, the very first "Art exhibition of Sikh heritage" will be taking place in which a large number of art pieces related to Sikh heritage will be exhibited.
On the other hand, PTI Dubai member Imran Chaudhry along with his delegation called on Governor Punjab Ch Muhammad Sarwar at Governor House and talked about political and regional matters and specifically the renovation of Gurduwara Bhai Karam Singh Jehlum and its preservation.
While speaking on the occasion the Governor Punjab said that instructions have been sent to all Deputy Commissioners of to province to prepare lists of historical monuments and sacred places of minorities including Sikhs and Muslims and said that we will ensure renovation and decoration of religious places of all religions. Sikh community in the world loves Muslims and Muslims also love their Sikh brothers and both always stand for each other.
