According to police sources, a police party carried out a raid near Gulshan marriage hall Block C/1-3, Rashid Minhas Road in Gulshan-e-Iqbal and detained two wanted street criminals, Aqeel and Afsar. Police said during initial investigation the accused disclosed that they are habitual street criminals and use to snatch cell phone, valuables and cash from citizens outside of marriage halls in the city areas.

Police also recovered 2 TT-pistols with rounds, snatched cell phones and a stolen motorbike from their possession.

Police further said that the accused wanted to Gulshan police in several numbers of criminal cases.
