A huge fire erupted at General Tyre Company's godown in Landhi area on Monday, turning goods worth of millions into ashes. However, no injury or loss of life reported.
The footage of the fire incident shows that the inferno was engulfing an open air tyre stock and a portion of building as thick black smoke was billowing in the air while the rescuers were making efforts to control the blaze.
Three fire tenders took part and doused the blaze after hours-long efforts. Cooling process was under way. The cause of the fire was not known till filing of this report.
