However, an official of the Industries Department though said he had received a copy of the resignation from someone else. Haji Iftikhar Ahmad, a member of the Board of Director confirmed the resignation and told that the board will conduct inquiry into the losses met out by the former CEO of the company.
He said the purpose of inquiry is to prevent the occurrence of such incidents in future and put the company on right direction. Text of the resignation: It is with mixed feelings that due to personal reasons I hereby resign my position as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Khyber Economic Zones Development and Management Company (KPEZDMC), effective immediately.
Due to kid's education, I recently moved the family to Canada and was planning to return to continue my job, however, splitting the family at this stage while the kids are very young is going to be inappropriate and stressful for the family as well as myself. As a result, my family and I decided to resign from the service. It has been an honour to lead KPEZDMC for the past one and a half years serving the people, industrialists and investors of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and other provinces as well as from abroad in making their investments in the industrial estates and special economic zones (SEZs) throughout the province.
