Prime Minister Imran Khan has rightly told the United Nations that his country's dispute with India over Kashmir could escalate into an all-out nuclear war that would have consequences for the world. He has also told the global body that India could unleash a bloodbath in the Muslim-majority territory as armed forces there would turn on the population after the curfew was lifted.
The question is: who is going to buy Modi's argument that 900,000 troops have come for the prosperity of Kashmir?
The world community appears to have appreciated the criticality of situation in the Indian occupied Kashmir. It is likely to break its silence anytime soon.
