People belonging to different walks of life including refugees from Jammu and Kashmir settled in Sialkot and Narowal districts have hailed the historic speech of Prime Minister Imran Khan at United Nations general assembly. They said the Prime Minister has successfully highlighted the highhandedness of Indian armed forces in Indian occupied Kashmir.
Expressing his views Rana Nadeem Ahmed a local businessman on Sunday here said that Prime Minister's speech was eye opening and urged upon the world community to desist from lip service and take practical steps for avoiding bloodbath after lifting the longest curfew in held state. He further stated that Prime Minister has successfully managed to project the bleak picture inside held Kashmir for jerking the world conscious.
The Member Punjab Assembly (MPA) Farah Azmi while expressing her viewpoint on Prime Minister's speech said that it was historic speech which helped world community to understand the gravity of Kashmir issue. She further stated that Indian government was trying to hoodwink the global community through its false propaganda against Pakistan adding that now the international community including United Nations are fully aware about the brutalities and barbarism being carried out by Indian troops in Indian occupied Kashmir.
Some senior refugees Ali Ahmed Dar, Shaheen Butt and Islam Ahmed Kashmiri while expressing their views said that we salute to Prime Minister Imran Khan for presenting the Kashmir issue in a bold way in United Nations' general Assembly. They said that we are thankful to Prime Minister Imran Khan and Foreign Minister for taking pain for resolving the Kashmir issue and lifting longest curfew in held state.
