Global ratings agency Fitch kept Greece's credit rating unchanged at BB-, or three notches below investment grade, saying on Friday it expected the country's economic recovery to gather pace in 2019.
"While Greece's financial crisis exposed shortcomings in government effectiveness and put acute pressures on political and social stability, governance is still significantly stronger than in most sub-investment-grade peers," Fitch said in a news release.
The agency maintained its outlook for Greece at "stable."
