Commander-In-Chief of Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition (IMCTC), General Raheel Sharif (retd), met Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi at the Foreign Office on Tuesday.
During the meeting, the former army chief apprised Qureshi about the measures taken by the IMCTC against terrorism. Matters of regional stability and mutual interest were also discussed, local media reported.
A day ago, Sharif had met Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa at the General Headquarters in Rawalpindi. The COAS appreciated the efforts of IMCTC towards regional peace and security.
The IMCTC delegation arrived in Pakistan on Sunday for a two-day visit of the country. This visit comes days before Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman is due to arrive in Pakistan.
