In a press statement here on Wednesday, Haleem said that the recent incidents of target killing in Naudero and Karachi can be a conspiracy to destabilize peace.
They can lead the province towards sectarian riots. He expressed his grieve over the killing of the innocent people and demanded to authorities for culprits’ arrest.
He termed it a failure of provincial police, adding that law enforcement agencies need to tackle the issue of target killings seriously and provide protection to people.
He said basic facilities are not available to the people of Sindh due to the corruption of the ruling party in the province. He said “the Auditor General of Pakistan’s report proved that Sindh Health Department purchased sub-standard medicines worth more than Rs2bn.”
He said chief minister of province is paying lip service to people now he should take practical steps for the protection of citizens.
He also expressed sympathies with the families of the deceased and prayed to Allah, the Almighty to grant eternal peace to the departed souls.
