CM KP directs to expedite work on projects being carried out under CPEC

ISLAMABAD: Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Mahmood Khan has directed the concerned authorities to expedite work on the projects being carried out under China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) across the province.

He was presiding over a meeting along with Federal Minister for Energy Umar Ayub Khan in Peshawar on Thursday.

The Chief Minister said new infrastructure projects will be started in all cities of the province including tribal districts.

He termed Dasu and Bhasha Dams as the economic backbone for development of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Mahmood Khan said new projects of clean drinking water will be initiated in the suburbs of Terbela. The meeting agreed to remove hurdles in implementation of gas and hydel power generation projects.
