Disney has set a new record with the surprise release of ‘Frozen 2’ trailer on Wednesday. In just 24 hours of its release, the first teaser trailer for ‘Frozen 2’ became the most viewed animation trailer of all time with over 116 million views.
The analytics come from the accumulated value of views from Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube, across various Disney-branded networks. The previous record holder was ‘Incredible 2’, which had amassed 113.6 million trailer views in its first 24 hours.
‘Frozen’ was massive success in 2016, it was also a critical smash and took home the Oscar for ‘Best Animated Feature’. The much-anticipated teaser trailer of ‘Frozen 2’ is out and hints at an epic adventure and emotional ride.
Though the trailer itself didn't actually reveal much in the way of plot but people have been looking for clues hidden in the short video. It features Elsa (Idina Menzel}, trying to further master her powers and eventually teaming up with Anna (Kristen Bell), Kristoff (Jonathan Groff) and Olaf (Josh Gad) for a sprawling adventure.
