On its 10th anniversary on Wednesday, Samsung mesmerized people with its amazing Galaxy S10 series, however, one phone that dominated the rest was its’s foldable phone named Galaxy Fold with a high price tag.
After being teased last year, Samsung finally unveiled its foldable Galaxy Fold smartphone that stole the spotlight of the entire show. According to Samsung, ‘Ten years after the first Galaxy, we didn’t just change the shape of the phone, we changed the shape of tomorrow’.
The Galaxy Fold is a compact 4.6-inches smartphone when close and a 7.3-inch tablet when fully opened. Similar to the Galaxy S10 5G, Galaxy Fold too features six cameras: three on the back, one on the front, and two inside.

The phone features 12GB RAM, 512GB storage, 4,380mAh battery, and an optional 5G support. As per CNET, the apps can impeccably transition between the displays, something that Samsung calls App Continuity. When opened, user can use three active apps at once, feature known as Multi Active Window.
The phone will have a 4G LTE version and a separate 5G version as well. Starting at a price of $1,980, Samsung Galaxy Fold will be available on April 26, making it as the most expensive smartphone on the market. The phone will come in four different colors: Cosmo Black, Martian Green, Space Silver, and Astro Blue.
Furthermore, apart from next-generation smartphones, Samsung also included bunch of wearables including smart watch Samsung Galaxy Watch Active, fitness band Samsung Galaxy Fit/Galaxy Fit E, wireless earbuds called Samsung Galaxy Buds.
