ISLAMABAD: The KSE-100 index of Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) witnessed a mixed trend on Thursday and lost 54.58 points (0.14%) to close at 40,016 points.
A total of 66,269,700 shares were traded, whereas the value of shares traded during the day stood at Rs 4.56 billion.
Out of 304 companies, share prices of 130 companies recorded increase while that of 155 companies registered decrease whereas 19 companies remained stable in today's trading.
BOP was the volume leader with 7,301,500 shares, and its per share price decreased by Rs 0.14 to close at Rs 13.43 per share.
PAEL remained the runner up with 5,581,500 shares traded during the day and its price also decreased by Rs 0.17 per share to close at Rs 25.33 followed by OGDC, trading volume of which was recorded 4,233,100 shares, and its price per share increased by Rs 1.19 and closed at Rs 153.01.
