With all this foldable smartphone mania going on, Apple’s co-founder too has desired his wish to have a foldable iPhone and join the rest.
Recently Samsung and Huawei unveiled their foldable smartphones leaving people in awestruck. In a recent interview with Bloomberg, Apple’s co-founder Steve Wozniak said that he was concerned over why Apple does not have a folding iPhone and that he really wants one.
Wozniak said, “Apple has been a leader for quite a long time in a few areas such as Touch ID, Facial ID, and easy payment with the phone. They’re not the leader in areas like the folding phone, and that worries me because I really want a folding phone.”

He mentioned that foldable phones are ‘one of those new technologies that does catch [his] attention’. Yet, Wozniak, who co-founded Apple with Steve Jobs, is optimistic about Apple’s future, with the tech giant already branching out in a range of projects aside from its iPhone market, wrote Bloomberg.
“They just got so successful on the iPhone and that was their whole business for a long time,” he said. “Now they’re branching out so a lot of their businesses have been very good.”
However, recent reports have suggested that soon Apple too might bring in its own foldable iPhones as it has already been approved of a patent stating its plans for such an iPhone, reported Futurism.
