As the Mobile World Congress 2019 nears its end, organizers have presented their awards and Huawei’s newest flagship was awarded as the ‘best smartphone’.
The MWC 2019 organizers GSMA officials presented the Global Mobility of Employees (GLOMO) awards to various companies, Huawei’s Mate 20 Pro was titled as the ‘Best Smartphone’ by third-party judges, whereas Samsung was awarded ‘Best Wearable Mobile Technology’.
The decision was based on different factors of the phone including like the camera system, battery life, charging solutions, design and hardware.

The Huawei Mate 20 Series inherits the company’s innovative DNA and most importantly, groundbreaking technologies that bring consumers the ultimate user experience.”
Huawei Mate 20 Pro is the world’s first 7nm mobile AI chipset Kirin 980. The phone incorporates triple rear cameras, 4,200mAh battery, and a Reverse Wireless Charging that lets users charge other devices and electronic gadgets wirelessly using the smartphone’s power.
Other tech giants including Samsung was awarded as ‘Best Wearable Mobile Technology’ for Samsung Watch, whereas Google was titled as the ‘Disruptive Device Innovation Award’ for its Google Night Sight. Nokia was given the ‘5G Leadership Award’ whereas, the ‘Best Content and Media Innovation’ was awarded to Epic Games for the Fortnite Franchise.
