The full trailer of one of 2019's most anticipated films, ‘Aladdin’, is out and from the looks of it the movie seems to be great, capturing the magic and whimsy of the 1992 animated original.
The trailer offered a slightly better idea of what to expect from the remake. The trailer starts with the funny, snappy tale of adventure that fans know and love. The genie played by Will Smith seems to have more punch, while Mena Massoud’s Aladdin gets to show off some of his ‘street-rat’ tricks.
The trailer pulls back the curtain further on Smith’s Genie, whose bluish hue received mix reaction on social media earlier. It’s clear from today’s footage though that he’s got a lot more to do than cross his arms and grant wishes.
Directed by Guy Ritchie from a script by John August and based on the 1992 animated classic, the movie will hit theatres on May 24.
