ISLAMABAD: Minister for Education and Professional Training Shafqat Mehmood Tuesday said Nawaz Sharif should get treated from Sharif Medical City hospital by calling doctors from United Kingdom (UK).
Sharif family had not ever availed medical treatment from the country's hospitals and always preferred to go abroad, he said talking to a private news channel.
He said Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government was ready to allow the former prime minister to get quality medical treatment from any hospital of the country.
The minister said permitting Nawaz Sharif to go abroad was not possible for the present government as the matter was already in the court.
Shafqat Mahmood said when Bilawal Bhutto came to Karachi stadium for watching the Pakistan Super League (PSL) final, people had chanted slogans against him.
He urged the PPP chairman to concentrate on development and welfare of Sindh province instead of doing politics on non-issues.
He said the corrupt elements would be punished as per law and constitution.
