ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Petroleum Ghulam Sarwar Khan on Monday said the matter of over billing in gas sector would be adjusted in next two months.
Those officers found involved in interruption of gas supply had been removed, he stated while talking to a private news channel.
In replying to a question about increasing the tariff in gas sector, he said no decision was made yet on the issue.
The minister said the present government could reject the summery sent by Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA).
Ghulam Sarwar said the issue of over billing would be resolved by the end of June this year and in this regard, directives had been issued to the concerned quarters.
About former interior minister Chaudhry Nisar, he said Chaudhry Nisar had lost majority in the previous elections.
He further stated that Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan had got the provincial seat and now he should play role for welfare of people of the area.
