MULTAN: Multan Electric Power Company (MEPCO) launched a crack down against chronic defaulters and recovered over Rs 92 million from 7472 dead defaulters during February last.
According to spokesperson, in line with special directions of MEPCO CEO Engineer Tahir Mehmood, the company teams started crackdown against defaulters.
The MEPCO teams recovered outstanding dues from 1195 defaulters of Multan circle, 890 of DG Khan circle, 365 of Vehari circle, 1470 of Bahawalnager circle, 516 of Sahiwal circle, 1052 of Rahim Yar Khan, 1077 of Muzaffargarh circle, 379 of Bahawalnager circle and 528 dead defaulters of Khanewal circle.
In a statement, the company CEO said that operation would be continued without any discrimination.
