KARACGI: Our Captain Prime Minister Imran Khan has started the biggest poverty alleviation program in the history of Pakistan and we are bringing constitutional amendments soon under which giving people Roti, Kapra, Makan, education and healthcare would be the constitutional responsibility of the government and citizens could move courts if the government failed to discharge this responsibility.
This was said by Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) Sindh chapter President and parliamentary party leader in Sindh Assembly Haleem Adil Sheikh, addressing a press conference at the Hyderabad Press Club on Thursday.
He said the Prime Minister has initiated programs for women, senior citizens, trans-genders and youth and proved that he is the real representative of people. He said Prime Minister Imran Khan always thinks for the poor people and for the nation.
He reminded that last time when Prime Minister Imran Khan visited Tharparkar, he announced health cards for 275000 families, which would help in better healthcare facilities for the children and adults of Thar.
He said in the Naya Pakistan poverty would be ultimately ended. He said in the leadership of Imran Khan Pakistan is on the path of progress and prosperity. He said Prime Minister Imran Khan through the proposed constitutional amendments would make himself bound for provision of all basic facilities to the people of Pakistan.
Haleem Adil said during last ten years, the PPP was given a lot of money to serve the people of Sindh, but they gave nothing to the poor people. He said they only stuffed their own pockets and looted money through fake bank accounts. He said we staged a Defense of Pakistan march and they staged a Defense of Zardari Sahib’s corruption march. He said Bilawal staged Train March to save his family and corrupt ministers. He said it was good for Bilawal to stage a train march as if he had staged a road march, broken streets, overflowing gutters and hills of garbage would welcome him, besides long queues of patients. He said when in Sindh the government belongs to the PPP, whom this march was against. He said the PPP is afraid because its leaders are involved in corruption. He said the PPP is braving curses of the people of Sindh.
Haleem Adil the PPP had no moral courage to display even a single picture of Asif Zardari during the whole train march of his son Bilawal Bhutto Zardari. He said these people should have shunned corruption, but instead they are still drowned into corruption. He said these people still read same outdated stereotype scripts. He said the true leader does not read scripts but speak from the depth of his heart. He said this march proved that the people of Sindh did not respond to it. Only PPP chairman, ministers of Sindh and their men were present in the train march. He charged that some women were lured to join the march for money and they faced loss of face. He said in fact this march was the march of NAB-affected ministers.
Haleem Adil said despite all their efforts not more than 1500 people could be gathered in the train march. He said the rulers of Sindh misused government resources for the march and in some cases also compelled government employees to attend the march. He said in Sindh misappropriation of Rs975billion were reported. He said this march was to rub salt into the wounds of corruption-hit people of Sindh.
He said Bilawal staged this march to save the skin of his Papa and their corrupt ministers. He said they also used friendship of Sheikh Rasheed. He said the PPP local bodies’ chairmen and TMOs got cleanliness of railway stations for the march. He said in Sindh students do not get even textbooks. He said the corrupt ministers are busy in visiting NAB offices. These people looted money from Sindh and used it on election. He said why these people do not take to streets to demand the arrest of the killers of Shaheed Bibi. He said why it was not being from ‘President Zardari’ that why the killers of my mom are not being arrested.
