SHC rejects bails of three accused in SESSI corruption case

A two-member bench of the SHC headed by Chief Justice Ahmed Ali Shaikh heard the bail pleas of the accused, Medical Superintendent Parvez Memon, Arif Khalil Hashmi and Tausef Ahmed, and dismissed their bail.

SHC CJ remarked accused do not appear before court after getting bail, they will come promptly if their bails are cancelled.

According to National Accountability Bureau (NAB), the suspects opened a fake company for the supply of medicines to the SESSI at enhanced rates, It said that after the completion of inquiry against the accused, the references of corruption of Rs250mn and emblasing funds and misuse of powers were filed against the accused.
